The Faculty of the Humanities recently started the Seminar Series wherein academics and students will be presenting their papers including book launches, and any idea is welcome. On the 28th of March 2019, the Faculty of the Humanities at the University of the Free State, Qwaqwa Campus collaborated with Bhiyoza Publishers to launch a book by Andile Mnguni (UFS – student). The book launch was a great success with a higher attendance from the student population on campus, including the staff members.

The book “Ngenxa Yentombazane” was published in September 2018 by Bhiyoza Publishers. During the launch, Andile inspired the attendees with motivational words.

“Believe in yourself because no one will ever do that for you”

Andile Mnguni

This is what the author and the discussant had this to say:

“I was among the first five people to buy this book after it was published and I was thrilled to see a young man like Andile, who has written a book while he is still young and expected to be doing what his peers are doing and yet he decide to write a book” – Zamandlangisa Miya. “The book touches on the social issues which affect the present society, that includes the youth, elders whether male or female. Anyone from any age group can read this book and learn a particular lesson” – Andile Mnguni
